Proud to announce soon beta of a "technical project" manager for Moodle as a working didactic activity for higher engineering education, or technical high schools.

Objective : May 2007 beta (unstabilized) 90% of key requirements.

Sorry for some french keys still in screens.

First screensample:

A flat view of one of the key entites : requirements

Requirements flat view (editing off)

Second screensample:

"One of" entity editors : requirements

Editing a specification tree

You may see at the bottom the "crosslinking" list allowing entity crossmapping.

Third screen sample:

The "work of mine" and of the others... at a glance, with completion indicators and cross entities indicators

Global

Fourth screensample:

Entities descriptions can contain all the project's detailed specifications and be browsed article by article with network navigation through cross entity links : navigate through from requirements up to deliverables... and back.

Final export should produce complete printable reports with adequate XLS tranform (in roadmap).

Browsing detailed entity units with crossentities network navigation

Fifth screensample:

Teacher tools for evaluating (ideas welcome !! I've only had time for a trivial model by now) . Teacher tools are not refined actually. We are on the work. Mostly will be provided information mass management such as copying form a group to another, loading all groups with a project template, XML import and export and things like that.

Teacher tools (not refined)

Please don't fear sending me feedbacks and apply for if being interested. We have still some road map to write and a developement project documentation to translate in english (it started as a student tutored project). Also interested in some help for integration, some extra tools making, CVS available if needed, or if adequate, later at Moodle (?)...

Many more samples on demand or at screenshot repository :

Estimado Sebastian

Thank you so much for this module. It is wonderful and I am very excited about it. I have it installed on 1.9+. However, I am having a few problems.

First, every time I made an edit the module reverts to disabled editing. So, I have to turn editing back on which is quite annoying.

Second, I think that adding the drag and drop ajax to this would make it MUCH more user friendly and much easier to use. Even better, inline editing would save me hours of input time.

Let me know if I could help to implement these. I started looking at the AJAX libraries to determine where I would need to add them in order to implement these fixes and then I realized that I should probably talk to you first before messing with the code.

I look forward to your response.
