For some reason, I cannot seem to get Moodle to accept photos for upload that are output as rgb-jpg files. All such files show up as solid black after upload. I have no problem with 256-color gif or png files. Any explanation?

GD Version: bundled (2.0 compatible)

I even tried finding the file itself (the solid black "f1" file and replacing it with a jpg named "f1." Of course, it wouldn't let me do that...denied me access to the file.

par Jonathan Grubbs,

I am working with Eric Wilbanks. When the host installed GD 1.x the image upload in Moodle worked fine, but stopped working with the upgrade to 2.0 compatible.

It is GD 2, here is the information from our phpinfo.php file:

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0 compatible)
GIF Read Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
