Of course every simple answer has a caveat: if some of you content contains absolute links, then they would have to be changed as well. For example to put a link to your original post into this post I might place http://moodle.org/mod/forum/post.php?reply=30289. That link would stop working when Martin decided to move Moodle somewhere else.
Well it looks like I got it moved. It appears to be working fine. All I did was change the config.php to reflect the new location and moved the directory else where.
