Language problems

Hi,
I've created a new language folder by copying the "en" folder, renamed to "hu" and started to translate the moodle.php file (I've done the half of it). Then I uploaded the "hu" folder into the lang folder. After I went to admin area (Configure vars) where I set the lang select menu to my lanuage (Hungarian). Despite the above actions the whole site's language remained in english except the index and the login page (when your not logged in). Furthermore on the index page it doesn't show the language select form in the upper right corner.
Thanks

This is what my host has:

PHP version: 4.1.2
MySQL version: 3.23.54

Thanks, it solved the problem. Why doesn't it show the language select menu on the front page?

The language menu on the front page is one of the new features in Moodle 1.0.9 (still being developed).
