Student wiki with some default content?

Student wiki with some default content?

I would like to have a wiki for all students on a course, but have a couple of pages of default content to get them started. Is there a way of doing this? I can do it for a shared wiki, but not an individual one.

TIA

You can use a txt file as teh starting point. This allows you to set up one page but not more than one.

You could include the links to create the next pages and show pupils how to cut and paste information from subheadings in this file to the correct wiki pages.

For example

*[Health and Safety]
**Which areas of computer use are covered by HSE legislation?
**When did the law come in to force?
**Whose responsibility is health and safety in the workplace?
**What different topics are covered
***[Seating]
***[lighting]
**http://www.learninglink.ac.uk/keepfit/index.htm when you have achieved more than 70% in the quiz print the certificate and hand it to your teacher.
**http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/gcsebitesize/ict/ Theory and quizes
**http://www.teach-ict.com/gcse/theory/healthsafety/student/shome_h&s.htm Theory, Quizes and games
*[Systems Lifecycle]
***Add your topics to the Systems Lifecycle page
*[Validation and Verification]
***Add your topics to the Validatin and Verification page
