I've solved my database connection problems by using the correct password (twit)!
The next problem is that the script runs but I have 21 errors and the concluding box states that “Forum Tables could NOT be set up successfully!” There are various errors but most of them state that the text is too long.
Has anybody seen this problem before?

You did not mention your database version, but I guess it is >5.0.24

I solved the problem by deleting the database table and re-installing Moodle and it worked.
