Cannot find RSS Feeds option for Forum and Glossary

Hi there everyone!

Im using Moodle 1.6.3, and am trying enable RSS for my News Forums and for a Glossary.

I already went to Admin>Config>enable rss feeds> YES

But the two extra fields that supposed to appear in the activities "rss feeds for this activity" and "number of RSS recent articles" as per http://docs.moodle.org/en/RSS_in_Glossaries do not appear.

Anyone can help please?

Hi Bernardo

You need to switch RSS on in a number of places.

The first step is to enable RSS across the site, which is what you have already done.

The second step is to enable RSS feeds in the individual modules too (both Forum and Glossary) - go to the Modules settings under Admin Configuration - http://yourmoodle/admin/modules.php

The last step is to enable each Forum and Glossary to publish an RSS feed. If it's an existing Forum or Glossary, you'll need to switch editing on and then 'update it'. In the update screen, you'll see the two fields that your refer to above. This needs to be repeated for every Forum and every Glossary that you wish to publish RSS feed from.
