One thing I get anoyed by is people who do their chirstmas shopping at the begining of november.
My birthday is on the 12th and I get really anoyed when people are buying christmas stuff, and it hasnt been past my birthday.
For me, chirstmas doesnt start till December
:P
Be prepared to hate. After 31 years of promising to be done early, I actually managed to do it this year.
1. Amazon Prime with free two day shipping.
2. Shopping finished in less than an hour..

My wife's birthday is November 30th, so I use Amazon a lot that month. I usually buy both her birthday and Christmas gifts at the same time. I haven't used Amazon Prime yet. What makes it better then regular Amazon?
If you buy a lot of stuff from Amazon (as both my wife and I do) the free fast shipping is worth it.
I bought an air conditioner from them a while back. They probably lost money on me that year.

OK, Tony, that solves the problem of *where* to shop and how to get it fast. But the real problem is *what* to buy my wife.
Totally flustered,

Have your wife set up an Amazon wish list.
Problem solved.

Problem solved.
A wish list. Of course! Yet another problem solved.
Now does Moodle have a "wish list" feature?

- books I "wish" to study?
- questions I "wish" to get answered?
- homework I "wish" to forget?
- deadlines I "wish" to extend?
Perhaps Martin could arrange a Christmas edition of Moodle?
Moodle 1.7 - Christmas edition.

If we did then there'd also need to be a Ramadan edition, Atheist edition, etc ...
Good Point

I know the feeling Martin. We have three family birthdays next week, and I haven't even finished buying for those , let alone Christmas.
Hi, Martin. I know how you feel. My birthday's even closer: on the 11th of December. My mom worked hard all throughout my childhood to wait to put up the tree, etc. until after my birthday.
Now I'll have to remember to do the same for my own son who was just born on November 13th as I've picked up the bad habit in the last decade of beginning to listen to Christmas music sometime in September--okay, maybe October. But I don't decorate until after December 1. Really.
In any case, I have much to be thankful for this season. And since it is officially December, now, in my time zone, Merry Christmas!

Speaking of Christmas music, SomaFM's "Xmas in Frisko" can be a fun station.
