Hi Tran,

first of all, I must admit that I'm not an specialist on IIS at all. Knowing that, could be possible that:

1) Such script (admin/index.php) isn't present in your installation or the web server hasn't read access to that dir?
2) Under IIS, the "admin" dir is reserved for something so it doesn't point you to the Moodle page but to another place?

If 1) is not the cause, you can try to workaround 2) by:

- Rename the "admin" dir to "admin2" or something similar.
- Set this variable in your config.php file: $CFG->admin = 'admin2';
- Try again going to the main http://localhost:81/moodle17 URL

Hope this helps...ciao smile

Has this issue been resolved? I too have installed moodle 1.7 with IIS 5.1 and MS SQL 2005. The tables were created in MS SQL 2005, but as soon as I clicked continue it redirected my to admin/index.php with a page cannot be found error. The page exists in my iis site and on the hard drive. I would appreciate any assistance to fixes or solutions.

Thanks..
