Hi all developers!

Firstly, a big THANK YOU for all your contributions to the developer documentation in Moodle Docs - it's really great! approve

Because of the large number of developer documentation pages we now have (see http://docs.moodle.org/en/Category:Developer), it has now become necessary to do some wiki reorganisation.

The plan is to have all developer documentation in a separate namespace called Development. Development namespace pages will be styled so that developer documentation is easily identifiable (MDLSITE-38), plus an additional benefit of the separate namespace will be the option to search only these pages (see http://docs.moodle.org/en/Special:Search?search=&fulltext=Search).

Thus, all existing developer documentation needs moving into the Development namespace (MDLSITE-35) and any new developer documentation pages need to be added to the Development namespace.

Currently, only Moodle Docs admins have the right to move pages so that the full edit history is retained. I'm just considering the most efficient way of moving the pages and editing the links. Any suggestions would be welcome. wink

To add new developer documentation pages to the Development namespace, please type Development: before the new page name i.e. Development:New page name.

Thanks again for everyone's documentation contributions - together we are able to create and maintain a fabulous Moodle resource. approve

PS. Thanks to David Scotson for our talk at the UK MoodleMoot and for your most helpful Moodle Docs insights and ideas.
