Problems integrating LAMS with Moodle 1.6.2

We have just upgraded our Moodle at http://e.dbi.edu to v 1.6.2 and seem to have some problems with the LAMS integration. Choosing the LAMS activity module the LAMS activity dialogue does appear, but the "Select Workspace" and "Select Sequence" fiedls are empty. I am able to create a new sequence, but when I click "Use selected sequence" or "Edit selected sequence" a Windows IE window pops up saying:

"No workspace was returned from LAMS server! You may try refreshing sequence list. If you still get the same problem, probably you have [sic!] to cancel this activity."

Does anybody know what to do? I have checked the settings for the LAMS module in Moodle's administrative interface, and nothing is wrong.

I have the same problem. It would appear that Moodle and LAMS are not on speaking terms, I'm digging into it to see if I can find a solution.

This is a require_once config.php problem in mod/lam/lib.php as described elsewhere. Having fixed that problem - thanks to others for the help  - I now have a problem after configuring the LAMS activity page. After accepting the session, Moodle progresses to a blank screen. It looks like the previous page isn't passing the required parameters (or any parameters at all) to the next page.
