changing server moodle 1.5: when i have more than 100 courses

Hi! =]

I had a Moodle 1.5 installed in a server. Lucky, i'll chance to a dedicated server, but i had more than 100 courses. I don't have time to backup each course, so is there some way of migrating all moodle, with users, courses, logs and themes (and all kind of files )?

I had thinking and copy the files and do a backup of a Database, but there are some problem in doing that?

You should use the backup-and-restore method, really, because the data will probably contain URLs that will not work if you simply copy things across. The backup-and-restore process should automatically change the URLs.

But to do backup of each 700 courses???

There are some method to do this without lost mine mounth?

If you just change servers but use the same URL to access the new server, there's no need to adjust anything in the database, and going the 'copy' way is faster and more trouble free.
