I'm not sure why...when I upgraded to 1.8 the icon for resouces no longer shows up.

Also, would it be possible to use the richtext editor in the heading part of each topic within a course?

I just checked, icon.gif is missing. Isn't that odd? Well, I just copied the icon from my previous installation into mod/resource. And it works.
