Cannot write Chinese in my Chinese version

Hi,
I've installed Chinese in my moodle.  But when I write Chinese, I always get "????"

could any one tell me why?

Have you set the default lang to zh_cn?

yes, i did.  still, not working.

all system parameters are in Chinese, but when I typed any Chinese, it displays as "???"

Which version of Moodle you are using now? please try 1.6.x as well.

Also, could you please make sure both your server and your browser support UTF-8?
