Using postgres I was upgrading moodle from 1.5.4 to 1.6.1. You know the deal, summer almost over and trying to get all set before the next semester starts. Anyway, I use phpPgAdmin to monitor what is happening with the databases. I create a database using unicode (oddly enough utf-8 was not one of the menu schoices even though I am using postgres 8.0.3. Fill in the forms stuff and submit the job. Lo and behold, pretty soon the following message occurs.
Database duplication failed with possible error:
pg_dump: SQL command failed
pg_dump: Error message from server: ERROR: permission denied for relation active_sessions
pg_dump: The command was: LOCK TABLE public.active_sessions IN ACCESS SHARE MODE
And nothing has happened with the new database I just created.
Ideas?
