E-mails and charsets(encodings)

When people receive e-mails in html format from Moodle (signup, forums posts) some e-mail clients not always auto-select right encodings. It confused some peoples...

E-mails in html format doesn't contain information about charset. May be add this information? Is it help or not?

I am having this problem, using EUDORA, I receive messages from French-language courses in Moodle with French diacritics not properly decoded.

Found a solution here. Simply install the provided UTF8ISO.DLL Eudora plugin et voila! cool
