Moodle in English: how to install GD?

Hi, whenever I want to view the survey report. It say: GD must be installed to see the graph.

What is GD and how I go about installing GD?

I have setup GD successfully, but now it shows broken links. All the graphs in my site cannot be seen. Can you help me?
