Self enrolment

Hi,

I have a public course where learners can self-enroll after logging into their accounts. Once a user self-enrolls, I can see from the admin side that they are successfully added to the course.

However, if the user logs out and returns later to access the course, they are no longer able to see it. On the admin side, I notice that their account appears as suspended in the course’s participant list.

Could you help me understand what might be causing this behavior?

I would really appreciate your assistance.

I am using moodle 4.3.4

no- you need to change the Enrollment Duration. Looks like you need to select the Enable checkbox, before you will be able to select a duration value.

I believe that the help bubble is backwards. Look at the screen capture I provided in my original response. Check the enable checkbox and you will see.

I tried with this option, I got the same result. The student gets suspended after self-enrolling, followed by logging off and logging in.

I checked the help text for enrolment duration and I think it's correct - enrolment duration is unlimited if the enable checkbox is unchecked.

Dee, I don't think the cause of your problem is in the self enrolment settings. It sounds as though there is a process happening which suspends users. Are you perhaps using Moodle Workplace, with a dynamic rule for suspending users?
