On Moodle 4.5, I am looking to automatically send reports to people who are student advisors: reports on the activity in one or more courses of the students they advise (grades obtained and progress in particular). These students may be enrolled in courses with other participants, and advisors should not see information about students they do not advise.
I have tested the custom reports, which give good results with the option of automatically sending the report to an audience. I am using “course participants” as the “report source.” This gives me a list of all users enrolled in courses, but I don't think it is possible to filter users, which means that advisors would see information about all students...
I also tested the Configurable Report plug-in. It seems to me that it does not allow reports to be sent automatically by email.
Do you have any idea how I could achieve the desired result? With other plug-ins perhaps?
