Students enrollments status doesn't update

We get user enrolled through LDAP, but their enrollment status (either Active in green or Suspended in orange) does update only when they try to access the course. This behaviour ends up in teaching assistants reporting false issues, because they see an enrolled student and they might not be enrolled anymore.

Do you know if there is any way to update the status when the enrollment is modified? Or maybe daily?

Are your cron jobs running frequently?

We run it a few times everyday, not exactly sure, but should be around ~10 times. But we don't run it from moodle, it's external to it.

I checked the docu link you sent, but for us is imposible to run it every minute as it syncs against other tools and every cycle takes around 15 minutes to load.

Thanks!

The cron for moodle should only be running for moodle - you set each cron entry up separately so they run independent of other cronjobs...
