I have a teacher who wants to use PoerPoint with moodle. Is anyone out there doing that? Do you just use it as an uploaded resource that studennts download? I'm a mac guy, so I'm not sure: can powerpoint be embedded into a browser like flash, and so used with moodle as a linked html page?

Thanks!

No problems, just upload the .ppt file and use it directly as a resource (type: uploaded file).

The browser will take care of the rest (opening it embedded in the browser, or opening the file with Powerpoint or Staroffice)

Some of the activities set for our students have been to construct and develop  Powerpoint presentations on a particular topic. The students were then able to show other students their presentations, using an interactive whiteboard facility. We will be releasing some of these presentations soon, in the FREE zone area.
