Am I losing it? Course image not included when importing?

Hello there,

I'm pretty sure that Course image previously has been included when I import another course (that has a Course image), but maybe this is something I'm imagining? Shouldn't the Course image be included when importing, or?! 😵 Update: same seems to apply for Course summary?

Hello,

I read in the comments for MDL-79492 that not including the course image when importing is expected behaviour, and you can use course backup and restore to include the course image.

Hi Helen, thank you for clearing that up. I could have sworn Course image had been included in the past, but I guess that was using backup/restore. It's a shame, really, as Import is the easiest/quickest way for a teacher in my opinion. That's how it is done at our institution - teachers import last year's course into the new one. Having to re-edit Course summary and add the Course image again is - well - not optimal. A toggle to include course settings when importing would have been nice.
