I have this problem with tinyMCE in a Moodle 4.2 installation.. Greek characters and math symbols are dispλayed as HTML entities (&alpha, &theta etc) when I switch to source view. Encoding is UTF-8 and all the other settings seem to be OK when I compare them with other Moodle sites. Also the problem does not occur with stressed vowels.
