I have updated the Grid course format as follows:
Release 401.2.3 for Moodle 4.1 version 2022112800.00 (Build: 20221128) and above within the 4.1 branch until the next release:

with:
- Fix 'Orphaned Section still appear in Index Drawer'.
- Fix 'Restrict access can cause no content in other sections to be shown.' - #202.
- Fix 'Import quiz error + Number of topics reduced to 1' - #203.
- Improved solution to 'Problems with creating multiple courses from template via CSV in Grid Format' - #189, related to #203.
- Fix 'Html entities in section titles are not being decoded' - #205.
This releases could contain bugs and so I strongly recommend that you check on a test server first! Not sure how to set one up? Then look at the 'Installer packages' on https://download.moodle.org/releases/latest/. Ensure that you have multiple backups of all data before using. A M4.4 version of the format is in development. Along with Collapsed Topics too.
