The unexpected application of question versioning comes as a nice surprise. Your "somewhat complex questions" must be making the difference. Right now I don't have that luxury. I'm trying to make any (trivial) questions on Moodle - so every version is a triviality in duplicate! Now I know that this bloat could be cleaned one day, I'll concentrate on the work - will not raise fundamental questions!
