Gradebook

I administer a number of courses that are identical clones. These courses produce a very large number of quiz grades (hundreds). 

Occasionally a student needs to transfer from one course to another after completing work in the first course.

I have not found a workable way to transfer that student's grades because the mapping of grade items by means of dropdown menus is just too demanding. 

Is there any possibility of something like a "select all" option in mapping items in this case? 

The grade items and gradebooks in all these courses are identical. 

Is there another solution I am overlooking? Is there any kind of cut and paste solution? Is there a database script that would do this?
