Hi dear Moodlers,
I have been working on this for months, and I will very much appreciate pointers that you might have for me.
In my organisation, we are using a custom Moodle theme, from a third-party provider. They offer a wide range of custom login pages, but unfortunately none of them fit with the purposes of what we needed.
Therefore, now I have a custom-developed landing/login page in HTML. It has all the bells and whistles, including some CSS code.
Now the issue is, so far I have not been able to find a theme developer, or another way, to somehow embed this page into the Moodle version we are using, which is Moodle 4.1.6+ (Build: 20231102).
We have tried the direct editing via Boost, via the custom theme, via the custom theme with a bespoke child-theme - and none of that allows for the features needed.
TL;DR: I have a fully built login page in HTML, and I need a way to connect it to the Moodle site as THE landing/login page. So far, no success.
What is your advice?
You can check https://docs.moodle.org/403/en/Managing_authentication#Alternate_login_URL that allows to use another form.
Or you could create/edit the login.mustache template on your child theme.
