Dear Moodle Experts,

Is there a way to add an "auto checkmark" in the end of the activities on Activity Completion page that if all the previous activities are checked, then this box is automatically checked?

For example, in the below screenshot, if Josephine has completed Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3, then there is a box after Test 3 (where the red rectangle is located) and this box is auto checked if Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3 are checked (completed). Also, when exported as excel or csv, it also includes this box information.

You can do that when you install the additional plugin checklist (https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_checklist).

In the checklist options choose the "show course list modules in checklist", choose the activities you want students to finish and set completion to 100%.

You will then have an additional checkbox in the activity completion report which will automatically be checked once a student has done all the needed activities.

If you need step-by-step instructions, just let me know.

Dear Matthias,

Thank you. Where is the "show course list modules in checklist" in mod_checklist plugin? I was unable to find it. How do I link the created checklist items to the actual activities in the course? I need it so when the actual activity is a completed, this checklist can detect its completion and remembers it. So all the linked activities are completed, this checklist auto checks that this course is completed as all the activities are completed.

The students shouldn't have to come to the checklist and manually check the checkboxes.

Where is checklist option?
