In STACK problems, a checkbox input type considers certain mathematical expressions as invalid answers. It only validates specific expressions. Is there a solution for this? Thank you for any help!

Yes, the atom "out" is forbidden, sorry about that! It's potentially used for file write actions and so students are not permitted to enter it.

Thank you Christopher, it helped, but there is stil something wrong 
. Validating passed, but checking not, Moodle writes: prtans1 generated the following runtime error: file_search1: trgsmp.mac not found in file_search_maxima,system.

Oh dear, that's a completely separate problem with Maxima installation. Which version of Maxima do you have?
