Moodle in English: Last check required can't get it to work. Install help.

I can't get this check to disappear. I've tried "hacking" the /admin/environment.xml, editing the version of mariadb to 10.6.7. and now I'm having this error from xampp. Please help. xampp error

You can't hack the code - you need to upgrade your database...

Can you teach me how? Because, I've read how upgrading maria db does not work. I installed it through phpMyAdmin
