Training on sizing requirements for installation

Hi

I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask this, but still giving it a try.

I see lot of content and help on installing Moodle. I have used RJerz's videos to install my Moodle instance on GoDaddy VPS.

I am interested in learning more about hardware requirements (server space, bandwidth, etc.), factors that affect these, calculation, and so on.

Are any trainings for that? (Paid or otherwise)

I am from Bangalore, India. So would prefer someone facilitators from India, Australia, Europe or US Eastern time zone.

Thanks
Sreekanth

There's no formula for any of this. Read some of the discussions in the Hardware and Performance forum. Some of the Moodle Partners specialise in large Moodle sites but knowing how to do it comes from years of experience. I know myself from being involved in a very large site - it's the experience of all the things that have gone wrong wink

There is a whole forum dedicated to this subject. Visit the Hardware and performance forum. There are links to the documentation in the header of that forum. It also has many informative discussions. You may want to study all that and come back.

P.S. Don't repost there. The moderators here will move the discussion.

Thank you both. Will look around the Hardware and Performance forum.
