I have a student that needs to have activities manually recorded, however, these need to be backdated.
Is there a way to record the activity completions and have the course completion auto record and then change them? I know you can import grades to record marks but haven't found a way to change the dates.
Any help would be great.

This is something that is missing from Moodle. In other LMS systems they offer "back-dating" with a text field for teacher's reasons or justifications. This was essential for our compliance requirements.

I second what @Shirley says--I even tried going into the background data tables and couldn't get the date to change (to be fair, that was several versions back, but I don't love playing in the tables so much that I'm willing to try it again).
