Adding Custom String Identifier for Language Customisation

Hi everyone,

This is the first time I post a question here so please let me know in case I break any rule. My apology in advance.

I'm trying to add some custom menu item in the Space theme, e.g. User manual in the LHS sidebar, as a shortcut redirecting user to our user manual page. As the text "User manual" is hardcoded inside somewhere, it must not be inside any language file of Moodle, and as a result there's no (wise) way for me to give it a name in another language, e.g. Thai / Chinese.

and it would remain as English when I switch the language. This makes sense, but not something I'm expecting. I'm trying to give a name to these custom menu items in Language Customisation. However, it allows me to only change the existing from the system default / language default, but not adding new items.

Is anyone has an idea how I could customise the language for custom items? Thank you very much in advance!
