Hi all,

Im trying to enroll my friends LDAP account into my moodle but her name has a (') in it, for example "jam'oh" and when i try to run the ldap user sync i get "The given username contains invalid characters". Is ther another way to override it? I tried finding for this allow extended char in username but i cant find it anywhere in 4.1.2 moodle.

Silly me, should have used the search feature sooner, for people who cant find the setting its here

Site administration > General > Security > Site Security Settings.
