Lock topic title (section name)

Hello,

Trying to setup up a course as a template with fixed topic titles (section names), so that the teachers can't edit the title/name. Is that possible in any way? This shouldn't be on all topics, obviously - but only on some specific ones.

That's only possible via a core code change or via javascript. You would need to determine the criteria for being a locked name - section no perhaps? If you choose that, then what happens if someone moves their own section to the section position you've locked? So you may want to dabble in locking moving sections. It's a bit fiddly. Not impossible, we do it, but we do have some core changes to manage it.
