"ID number" not visible on Add new competency framework page

Hello,

We are running Moodle 3.9.5+ (Build: 20210312) and attempting to add a new competency framework. The following fields are available for us to choose from:


After providing values for the required fields (Name, Scale, and configuring said scale), selecting the "Save changes" button does not result in anything occurring. A new competency framework is not created. Here is a video demo:

As you can see in the video above, there is no "ID number" field, which is a required field according to the documentation here.


When I inspect the network request made as a result of clicking on "Save changes" the "Payload" looks like this:



When I inspect the network request made as a result of clicking on "Save changes" the "Preview" looks like this:


When I inspect the network request made as a result of clicking on "Save changes" the "Response" is: "[null]"


Is this a known bug, and, if so, how do we go about fixing this on our end so we can add a Competency Framework?

I searched the trackers this morning and could not find anything close to your issue. Consider creating a new tracker item.

Hi Shirley,

Thank you for your help with this. Mary proposed that switching to the default theme could fix the issue and it did; the ID number field appears on the standard theme.

Is it missing when you use a standard theme as well?

Hi Mary,

That was the problem. Our custom theme is missing the ID number field but the standard theme has the ID number field. Thank you for your suggestion!!
