We are trying to promote the using of SEB templates by teachers on our institution, but we are facing some problems regarding their management. In our institution we have a new instance of moodle every new academic year and all the courses are backed up and restored on the new instance. We are facing some issues when trying to manage templates mainly because SEB templates are backed up along with courses that use them and restored on the new moodle instance on a site level. This means that currently:
1) After restoring a course using a SEB template all other courses in that site can access the same template that the course was using;
2) Administrators are not able to delete the template on a site level because it is being used by the course responsible for the restoring (and admins are not able to understand which courses are using the template);
3) Templates can have the same name and there is no other information for teachers to distinguish them when trying to use them in their courses;
After restoring some courses that used SEB templates on previous instances of Moodle we get on our new Moodle site, on a site level, a number of SEB templates that we (admins) are unable to remove, that every teacher can access them on their courses but are unable to distinguish them when they have the same name.
I wonder if someone else is facing these same issues.
My workaround for now is to somehow remove SEB templates from courses backup/restore process...

SEB templates are used to create structured exam environments for trivia quizzes online and exams. They can be used to ensure that exams are secure, fair, and consistent for all test takers.
To manage SEB templates, you can follow these steps:
Determine the type of exam you will be creating, and choose an appropriate SEB template. There are different templates available for different types of exams, such as multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, or essay questions.
Customize the SEB template to meet your needs. This may involve adding or removing exam questions, changing the layout or style of the template, or adjusting the exam settings.
Test the SEB template to ensure that it is functioning properly. This may involve taking a sample exam or running a test with a small group of users.
Save the SEB template and use it to create online quizzes or exams. You can use the template to create new quizzes or exams, or you can make copies of the template to use for different exams.
Monitor the performance of the SEB template and make any necessary updates or changes. This may involve modifying the template based on feedback from test takers or adjusting the exam settings to meet the needs of your organization.
By following these steps, you can effectively manage SEB templates and create secure, fair, and consistent online quizzes or exams.
