I want to add new questions to an existing quiz, which is presently live and attempted by the users.
Following message is displayed, if I click on edit quiz:
"You cannot add or remove questions because this quiz has been attempted. (Attempts: 523)"
Please help.
If your quiz uses random questions from a particular question category, you can add new questions to that question category and they MAY be used by some (new) quiz attempts.
After one user has taken the quiz you can not change the number of questions, nor can you add/remove the questions you directly added to the quiz.
If the quiz uses a 'one question at a time" display, moodle MIGHT use for a randomly chosen question slot some of the new questions you recently added to a question category.
New users attempting the quiz will have a chance to get both old and new questions from the used category.
