As an admin is it possible to download all of the submitted images from workshop?
Or even just see them all together?
We have found a couple of students who submitted the same photo and would like to see if there are any others but it's very hard to compare by opening each submission.
Do you have access / ability to run SQL queries against the Moodle database on that site? If so, we could forge a query that would find the submissions (given that the students uploaded identical image file).
The other solution might be to make use of the portfolio feature. The Workshop is one of the modules that has it implemented and IIRC, it allows the participant to export all allocated submissions to static HTML files - including the embedded and attached images.
