For your first question you can add quizzes, assignments, small picture H5P activities, dialogue activities, textual resources and many more
You cant say directly which are not recommended but yes if you use high resolution image questions, high quality video questions, folder/file submissions greater than 2MB then there is a chance of slower loading on the internet. Hope this solves your query.
