Raunak, what meaning of the parameter "Frontpage course boxes" (Site administration - Appearance - Themes - Adaptable - Settings, the tab "Frontpage courses list") have you set?
Exactly not "Tiles" (as I see from your screenshot). That is why a user sees a description, only when he hovers the mouse over a tile. If you want users to see descriptions all over the frontpage without hovering, choose the meaning "Tiles".
As you see, existing descriptions are displayed (the texts are in my language, not in English, but, I hope, the example is clear).
