My longer term plan is to replace some of the attendance reporting with the new report-builder api in Moodle, if you're using Moodle 4.0 and the latest version of the plugin you might see I've added an initial basic report source for attendance already, but I need to make further improvements so I can replace some of the other attendance reports - hopefully it might eventually allow you to export the data in a tidier format, but feel free to reach out privately if you want to help fund any improvements.
