Adaptable Theme: How to change color in some specific areas?

Hello everyone, 

I'm using Adaptable theme for my moodle 4.0. However, I wonder how to change color in some specific areas, which I have tried but it did not work at all. Could anyone here please help me out? Thank you in advanced.

Best way is to use the browser development tools (F12) and work out the custom CSS.
