On our Moodle 3.11.6 test site, with Adaptable 3.11.1.0, the excellent additional activity information is not showing in the courses.
It's activated in the theme settings.

I'm referring to the "bubbles" we have in moodle 3.9.6, which have much better info than the one built into 3.11 core

It's because of the core improvement that I removed Adaptable's version and given the uncertainty and high maintenance over the code that was being used.

Thank you Gareth! I found the new settings in core.
It's a real pity though, the Adaptable activity info was so much better!
For instance, it showed when the student had made a submission (the 3.11 core just states "opened" and "due") and, it showed the teacher that there were submissions to be graded. This is really two steps backward in the usability.

Dear German,
In the M4.0 version, that functionality has been removed as it no longer works because of the core API changes to course formats.

Thank you, but I was looking for the setting that allowed us to see the ammount of students taking a quiz at some time.
