Here I am sharing some examples to understand it.

Example 1:
Question type 1 - Word select (I mean to say that one sentence is given and we can select multiple answers)

Question type 2 - Embedded for fill in the blanks/blank.

* Can we add both question types as one question?

Example 2:

Question type - Embedded (This type of question, not essay type, required a specific answer or answers)

* Are there any possibilities that answers can be typed as per the student's point of view? Can we declare the answer as a string? so, students can write according to their minds.

Example 3:

Question: single sentence offers multiple answers. Can we add multiple symbols for multiple answers to each sentence?

This question might be better in the Quiz forum.

In the standard package, there is the 'Multianswer' question.

In the plugns database, there is the 'Combined' question type and also Gapfill. They may not be exactly what you are asking for, but they will get you some way.
