MoodleCloud - PayPal enrolment and tiered pricing

MoodleCloud - PayPal enrolment and tiered pricing

Greetings all.

Is it possible in Moodle Cloud to set up PayPal auto enrolment with some type of tiered pricing scheme, so that different groups are charged different amounts?  So, for example, students are charged a lower cost than professionals?  Or would I have to create different versions of the course and use some other tool to direct the appropriate people to the appropriate course?

Thanks in advance for your help!  (If this has been answered somewhere else I apologize; I did a search but failed to find anything.)

Dear Michael,

Apologies for our late response. PayPal is part of the standard MoodleCloud account, so you don't need to install a plugin to use it, just enable it.
How it works is that each student or user will need to create an account first.

As for your question, you are not able to have different prices for the same course. For this reason, the best solution would be what you had suggested, creating a duplicated course instance with a different enrolment price.

I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions, please let me know or visit our FAQ page.

Warm regards,
