Moodle 3.8.2 (Build: 20200309)
We've had some requests for our current scorm packages to be displayed on the course page as a video instead of a lesson segment, but keeping status and records.
Currently to reach our training, a user logs in, selects a course from the dashboard, then clicks a lesson (SCORM) from the Course page, then clicks a play button to start the training (autoplay turned off). The request is to have the scorm lesson appear on the course page as a video with a play button and the SCORM still perform the same in regards to status, reporting, scores, etc. The request is to eliminate some clicking and give the training more exposure because some users find it buried too much. The settings for appearance offer popup or current window. I'm hoping it can appear on the course page instead of a lesson you need to click into.
I know I can publish the training as an mp4 video and make it appear on the course page as I have requested, but that does not track status, reporting, etc. and loses interaction (many of our trainings are simulations that learners need to click through).....(Unless Im missing something.)
Any advice is appreciated.
