Hi all,
We've recently started using the attendance module (many thanks to the developers!) and have a couple of queries around its use with groups:

  1. If I have a number of groups undertaking separate labs in the same subject on the same day, am I best to set up one single session and use the group functionality so that a group tutor only sees their students listed in the session? Or should I set up separate sessions for each group (which seems a lot more time consuming).
  2. If I go for the first option of one single session using groups, that session gets marked as completed (green arrow) in the actions menu as soon as any one of the tutors marks attendance for their group ( which is a bit confusing for the other tutors who have yet to record their attendance). Is there a way for groups to share a session but only have tutors see it listed as completed when their student group has had attendance marked?

Any advice would be gratefully received.
