Hello,

with new Chrome and Edge versions Moodle have problem with course format dropdown. When you want to edit course format in an existing course, just from topics format to a single activity or social format, there is an error: Error code: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION

I've tried using Opera GX, and the course format worked. I've tried different formats (topics, single, social) and it worked.
My Opera GX version is LVL3 (core: 78.0.4093.186)

But when I tried in Google Chrome, yes it gave me the same error
My Google Chrome version is Version 93.0.4577.63

We are also experiencing the same issue. We haven't found out what is causing it though. If anybody can help that would be great.

Dear all,
We experience the same issue with Edge Version 93.0.961.38. Chrome Version 93.0.4577.63 doesnot produce this problem.
The theme Lambda and Enlightlite doesnot suffer from this issue either.
Do you have solution for this please
