Cache issues in Boost child theme: need to clear browser cache to reflect SCSS changes, even after purging caches or with theme designer mode enabled

I developed a Boost child theme which is working so far. But there's an odd, annoying behavior: to be able to see the SCSS changes and template file changes, I have to clear browser caches before reloading the page — although I clear moodle caches or even if I have checked theme designer mode!

According to https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=349518#p1410590 and https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=349518#p1410747 clearing browser caches after purging moodle caches shouldn't be necessary because the cached version is made irrelevant.

I spent an awful amount of hours without being able to fix this issue, so any help much appreciated. I attached the child theme (without unnecessary files and data).
